The house is located in the old village of Drethem opposite the church. The river Elbe is just a few meters away. A huge outbuilding, the seminar area, the guest rooms and a big festival room belong to the house. 

Behind the house, you find a large and cozy garden with fruit trees, grapevine and lawn situated in the protected biosphere reserve named Elbtalaue. 

The seminar room consists of two room parts, 85 sqm and 50 sqm, a bright room with roof light, wooden floor, clay wall heating and large windows towards East. We also offer a tuned piano. This room is handicapped accessible as well as the bathroom area and the main entrance. The seminar room can be booked for weekends, afternoons or evenings. 

The equipment includes meditation pillows and mats, blankets, chairs, music system, and if necessary, a mixing console and two wireless microphones, a flipchart, and a beamer wall. The seminar area on the first floor offers a big guest kitchen including a dining room. Another smaller room can be used as an additional dining room or as a second seminar room.

The guest rooms are located in the upper levels of the house. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen and a dining room for up to 40 people. For smaller groups or holiday guests, there is a shared kitchen and a dining room available on the first floor (for about 8 people) and a tiny kitchen on the second floor (for about 4 people), see picture.

Please note that we are a vegetarian seminar house and do not allow drugs or animals.

We offer rooms with one to three beds for various needs. There are rooms with an own bathroom or shared bathrooms on the same floor. Nearby, there are also more accommodations available. We can help you on request.
